AS
Degree or higher with 5-10 years experience.
Strong Auto CAD skills (5 + years applicable
civil/mechanical drafting experience). Knowledge
of ArcView and ArcGIS would also be a plus,
but not a requirement. Candidates MUST be
proficient in AutoCAD v. 14-2002

Description: |
The
primary function of this position is to provide
CAD design support to Project Engineers on
a multitude of Water/Wastewater design projects.
This is not an entry-level position. With
some direction from the Project Engineer,
the Engineer/Designer should be capable of
designing and laying out water/wastewater
pump stations, pipelines and treatment facilities
(site grading a plus). This role requires
intimate knowledge of and the ability to efficiently
operate the software of AutoCAD. Additional
duties may include preparing design development
and construction documents, determining appropriate
systems and equipment.

0 to 6 months experience in civil design or
analysis of municipal infrastructure.

Will
assist Project Engineers in design of water
distribution, wastewater collection/conveyance
systems, streets/drainage and water/wastewater
treatment systems and preparation of reports,
plans and specifications for similar projects.
Construction management including coordination
with contractors, shop drawing review and
processing application for payment.
